Studia Iberystyczne

“Studia Iberystyczne”, or Iberian Studies, is a scientific journal dedicated to the questions of culture, language and literature of Spain, Portugal and the Latin American countries. The journal publishes original research works on the following language areas: Castilian, Portuguese, Catalan and Galician.

The journal is published by the Department of Hispanic Philology and the Department of Portuguese Philology and Translation Studies at the Institute of Romance Philology of the Jagiellonian University.

Starting with issue no. 7 (2008), “Studia Iberystyczne” has published articles in different conference languages, including Polish, in order to promote the research developed by Polish Hispanists abroad. The first six issues of the journal are available exclusively in Polish.

The publication is financed by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology of the Jagiellonian University of Cracow.
