The organizers of IALS IV Kraków 2006, in co-operation with an Oxford publishing house, are planning to publish a book of the selected papers delivered at the conference. The book is going to include only those papers which could fall into one of the following sections:
  1. Macro- and Metafigures
  2. Cognitive Aspects of Interpretability
  3. Translation
  4. Metaphor in Non-literary Discourse
  5. Narration
  6. Reader’s Response
  7. Phraseology and Lexicology
  8. Interpretability of Humour

The authors willing to have their papers published in one of the above categories are requested to send their contributions of circa 12-15 pages (about 3,500-4,000 words) to the organizers’ email addresses: echklucz@vela.filg.uj.edu.pl, grzegorzszpila@go2.pl,

The authors are kindly asked to follow carefully the stylesheet to be found on http://www.c-s-p.org/Authors.htm. Please follow the author-date system (in-text citation).

HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES TO FOLLOW

Before submitting their papers non-native speakers of English should make sure that their papers are proofread by a native speaker. Papers that are not written in idiomatic English will not be considered for publication.
