Przekładaniec. A Journal of Literary Translation

Started in 1995 and published twice yearly, Przekładaniec features literary translations, reviews and criticism. The journal focuses on the theoretical and critical aspects of translation seen as a transfer of values from one culture into another. We publish articles dealing with the evaluation of existing translations; comparative studies of multiple translation of the same work; analyses of translation techniques; and reviews of current work in translation studies. As we are based in Poland, naturally we devote space to translations from and into Polish.

We invite contributions from translators, scholars and anyone interested in literary translation.
